CARTER EP oils are premium quality industrial gear lubricants designed to provide excellent extreme pressure (EP) and load carrying properties. They are oxidatively stable and exhibit anti-rust/anti-corrosion, demulsibility, and anti-foam characteristics. CARTER EP oils are formulated with advanced sulfur-phosphorus chemistry which provides improved anti-wear and friction reducing properties, which in turn cause gear sets to operate cooler and more efficiently. CARTER SH oils are premium quality, synthetic (PAO) industrial gear lubricants designed to provide excellent extreme pressure (EP) and load carrying properties. They were developed for enclosed industrial gears to provide optimum gear protection against scuffing under very severe conditions. Typical applications are: bevel and spur gears, heavily loaded bearings, and gear couplings. CARTER SY ISO 150 thru 1000 – High-Performance Synthetic (PAG) Based Industrial Gear Oils
Description	Approvals and Specifications
CARTER SY oils are premium quality, synthetic polyglycol (PAG) based, industrial gear lubricants designed to provide excellent extreme pressure (EP) and load carrying properties. They were developed for the lubrication of enclosed industrial gears under the most severe conditions: high shock loads, extreme temperatures, and corrosive atmospheres. These products are highly recommended for worm gear applications.	DIN 51517 Part 3 – Group CLP  David Brown, CMD  NF-ISO 6743-6 Category CKS/CKT CARTER SY oils are polyglycol (PAG-based) lubricants which are NOT compatible with most mineral and synthetic hydrocarbon oils such as polyalphaolefins (PAO). Compatibility with the gearbox components (seals, paints, etc.) must be checked.

CARTER BIO ISO 220, 320 and 460 – High-Performance Synthetic (POE-based) Biodegradable Lubricant for Enclosed Gears
Description	Approvals and Specifications
CARTER BIO oils are based on synthetic polyolester-based stock that are biodegradable per OECD 301B. They provide excellent extreme pressure (EP) and load carrying properties. They are specifically designed for applications in environmentally sensitive areas. CARTER BIO oils are formulated to extend lubricant life and lower friction and power consumption costs. They are ideal for wind turbines, and other applications where optimum gear/bearing protection is required.	CARTER BIO can be used when CKC/CKD (ISO 12925-1) or CLP (DIN 51517-3) mineral lubricants performance levels are requested.
